The Premier International Medeu Hotel was built in 1974 and reconstructed in 1995. It is located at the picturesque territory of the National park district at the foot of the Ala-Tau mountains, in 15 kilometres from Almaty. The "Medeu" skating-rink and the "Chimbulak" alpine skiing centre are in 15 minutes from the hotel.
